In 2006 Hannah Perry sat down to draw a new children's picture and began doodling pigs. Over the course of a few months the pig was developed into a character that would then become a leader of a village called Honeysuckle. It wasn't until almost 3 years later that more characters came onto the scene.

Hannah has been drawing since she was very small and had been passionate about it for as long as can be remembered. Inspiration came from childhood memories of Hannah's best friend Helen, who at the time, lived on a pig farm. The other animals were also created from memories of working on a farm near the town where she grew up.

Hannah grew up in a small coastal town in England but after college moved overseas to work as a Nursery Nurse. First Hannah worked in Switzerland and then at 20 years of age moved to the USA. Since moving to the USA almost 11 years ago, Hannah has published a book she wrote and illustrated, and pursued a career in becoming a children's artist. Although her direction has changed throughout the 11 years, one thing has always remained the same—her strong desire to create art for children to make them smile.

Hannah hopes you enjoy The Giggling Pig.
