Frequently Asked Questions
Do you have a privacy policy?
Yes and we will never share your information with third parties without your consent. Read our Privacy Policy.
What is the difference between a walk in session and mommy and me?
The main difference is that the mommy and me session has been created with stations ready for the children to circulate. The walk in session is less structured with a few choices between ceramics and wooden projects for you to select. In both sessions the parents stay. It is not a drop off. There is a $3 discount on siblings and parents are not charged unless they want to select a craft themselves to paint and decorate.
Do I have to sign up for a whole month of classes?
With each of our sessions, you are able to buy a trial class (prices vary) to see if the class is what you were looking for. After that, you must buy a 4 pack. This pack of classes is at a discount. We encourage families and children to attend classes weekly, but being parents we understand that can't always be the case. No one likes to waste money and so your classes will still be waiting for you when you return. All we ask is that you call, text or email us if you have rsvp'd so we can open your space to someone else.
What if my child is under 10 but I feel needs to be in the advanced art class?
Because we know most of our art students before they go into the advanced class, we can let you know if we think they are ready even if they are under 10 years of age. If we have never met you, we are happy to offer you a trial session and discuss with you and your child our thoughts on the best class for them.
Do you offer refunds?
NO. We do not issue refunds. Credit can be issued to an account if 24 hours notice is given on cancelling a class.
Where did you get the name “The Giggling Pig”?
We get this a lot! The short story is that Hannah had a pig named Giggles while growing up in England. She then turned her love of Giggles into a children’s book that she wrote and illustrated called, 'Picnics & Puddles: The Adventures Of The Giggling Pig & Friends'. Her book was published in 2015 and can be purchased here. Look out for her next book soon!
Our Policies & Terms of Service
Photograph Taking
At The Giggling Pig Art Studios we take regular photographs of classes but only with guardians permission. We add these images to our social media sites and occasionally use on our website or promotional fliers. Children's names are never used or any personal information. We are not photographers, and staff do their best to capture moments of creativity and happiness during parties. These photographs are taken on cell phones or iPads, not professional cameras. Again, we stress we do not hire photographers to photograph parties or classes, but do our best to capture the moments for you to cherish. Although we do ask permission, please do let us know upon your child's first class so that we can be sure to tell all staff.
