About Us
Welcome to The Giggling Pig Seymour, our 4th franchise location located in the heart of historic downtown Seymour, CT. Established in May 2022, the studio has quickly become a community destination for children’s art programming, including classes, parties, after school, and camp programs for children of all ages. Join us in the studio for our award-winning arts programming, never-ending creative fun, and the limitless joy of possibility (and find us at the local libraries and after school programs too!).
Meet Our Staff
Pia Migani
Owner
Pia studied art history at Fairfield University and has worked in the design industry for over 25 years. As a parent to two creative children, she is passionate about arts programming for children and continuing to create thoughtfully designed spaces for families to inhabit and enjoy.
Joan Malerba-Foran
Manager
Joan has 30+ years of experience in education and holds an MFA in Literature with a concentration in oral traditions. Joan’s work in the studio focuses on facilitating social and emotional growth through imagination and play and the experience of possibility and self-expression through art.
Felix Horelick
Art Teacher
Felix is a recent fine arts graduate with a concentration in stage management and has studied in Massachusetts and Scotland. Felix’s role in the studio has evolved from studio assistant to lead instructor and his effervescent love of theater translates to the shared experience of imagination through art and play.
Nicki Fox
Art Teacher
Nicki is a current fine arts student with a focus on oil paint and photography. In her role as a lead instructor, Nicki can be found teaching classes in the studio, heading up afterschool sessions, and working with our littlest piglets. (And, although it’s true she’s partial to foxes, her favorite animal is actually a frog!)
Kaitlin Csech
Art Teacher
Kaitlin is a current studio art major with a concentration in painting and sculpture. She works primarily in ink and is excited to bring her love of collage and sculpture to the studio. In her role as an instructor, Kaitlin can be found teaching classes in the studio (and partying at the pig on weekends!).
Reagan Kalish
Studio Assistant
Reagan is currently attending university and her interests include photography, plants, and art. When not at school or traveling, Reagan can be found in the studio during camp and school break.
